PathwaysPlay Terms

Last updated: September 24, 2026

1. Agreement

PathwaysPlay (pathwaysplay.com) is operated by Give it a Try, LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("GIAT", "we", "us"). By using PathwaysPlay you agree to these Terms and to the Pathways Terms of Service, which apply here as well. Where the two differ about PathwaysPlay, these Terms control. Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect and how it is used.

2. Organizers

If you create a tournament, camp or registration page, you are the organizer of that event and responsible for it: who may take part, safety and supervision, insurance, the waiver families accept, your refund policy, and what you tell the people who register. We provide the software; we do not run your event.

If you collect payments through PathwaysPlay, you also accept the Organizer Agreement before payouts are set up. It governs fees, payouts, refunds, chargebacks and disputes, and it controls over these Terms on those subjects.

3. Families and teams

A player registration is made by a parent or guardian, or by an adult player. A team registration is made by the team's contact on behalf of the team. What you enter must be accurate and yours to give. The organizer's waiver, refund policy and event rules apply to your registration.

When you register you receive a management link. It is your key: anyone who has it can view the registration and, while registration is open, withdraw it. Keep it private.

4. Payments and fees

Organizers set their own prices. When a registration has a price, a service fee of 6% plus $1.50 is added and shown before you pay. The service fee covers registration and payment handling. It is refunded only if the organizer cancels the event. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never hold your card number.

Refunds of the registration price follow the organizer's refund policy, which is shown before you pay, subject to the minimums in the Organizer Agreement. A disputed payment is handled with the card networks by us as the merchant of record, and its cost is borne by the organizer as the Organizer Agreement provides.

5. Public event pages

A tournament's schedule, standings and results are public and may be shared or embedded by the organizer. Team names appear on them. Player names appear only when the team lists them for public display. Camp registrations are never public.

6. Acceptable use

Do not register people who have not agreed to be registered, interfere with an event you do not run, use another person's management link, attempt to reach data that is not yours, or use automated tools against the service beyond what its public interfaces allow. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.

7. The service

PathwaysPlay is provided as it is and as available. We may change, pause or retire features, and we do our best to keep the service up during events. We are not a party to any event and are not responsible for an event's conduct, cancellation or refund decisions except as the Organizer Agreement provides.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GIAT is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from PathwaysPlay, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to GIAT in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it; organizers are emailed about changes that matter to them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved by good-faith negotiation before any formal action.
