Media and Likeness Release

June 26-27, 2026. Mount St. Mary's University, Emmitsburg, Maryland. Produced by Give it a Try, LLC ("GIAT"), operator of the Pathways and Rising Tide services.

In plain language: tournaments get photographed, filmed, and streamed. This form lets us use that footage to run the Event and, unless you opt out below, to promote our events and services. If you opt out, your player still appears in live streams, match footage, and results coverage, because those are part of operating a public sporting event.

Who signs. If the Participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs and "I" refers to that parent or guardian. If the Participant is 18 or older, the Participant signs for themselves.

1. Grant of rights

I grant GIAT and its authorized media partners the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to photograph, film, record, and livestream the Participant during the Event, and to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and distribute such images, footage, audio, and the Participant's name, number, team, and likeness, in any media now known or later developed, for the following purposes:

1. Event operations and coverage: live streaming, match footage, team and group photography, scores, standings, and results coverage of the Event.

2. Promotion (only if the opt-out in Section 3 is NOT elected): marketing and promotion of the Event, future GIAT events, and the Pathways and Rising Tide services, including websites, social media, and printed materials.

If a stricter display election is made on the Digital Services Disclosure and Data Use Consent (for example, initials-only public display), that stricter election governs how the Participant is identified by name in GIAT's digital results coverage.

2. Conditions

No compensation is owed for any use described above. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished material. GIAT will not use the Participant's likeness to imply a personal endorsement of any third-party product, and will not sell or license the Participant's likeness to third parties for purposes unrelated to the Event or GIAT's services. GIAT will make reasonable efforts to remove a specific promotional asset on written request where practical, but cannot recall material already published or distributed. The Event is open to the public; GIAT cannot control photography or recording by spectators, participating teams, press, or other third parties, and this release does not cover their conduct.

3. Promotional opt-out

I decline promotional use. Do not feature the Participant in marketing or promotional materials. I understand the Participant may still appear in live streams, match footage, results coverage, and general crowd or field-of-play imagery, since these are inherent to operating a public sporting event.

4. General terms

This release is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland; any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Frederick County, Maryland. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. An electronic signature has the same force as an original.
